As a small entertainment company from Simpsonville, SC we have been impacted by the destruction of Hurricane Helene. Understandably, birthday parties, corporate picnics, and Fall Festivals have had to cancel or reschedule. The magicians, face painters, balloon twisters, and caricature artists from Joy Set Entertainment are ready to serve our wonderful customers when it is safe and prudent to do so.
Please note some important things.
- Except for instances where specialty items had to be secured, Joy Set will provide refunds for any canceled events that are unable to be rescheduled. We may not be able to give full refunds for the balloon decorating scheduled. But we promise to work with our clients.
- Joy Set has already paid several artists for upcoming work. After Hurricane Helene hit and events began to cancel or postpone Joy Set Entertainment made the decision to pay or partially pay many of the artists that work for us. At the end of the month many had bills due and now had extra costs due to the devastation from the storm.
- We will reschedule your event wherever possible. Before the hurricane, Joy Set had 33 events scheduled for the month of October. Plus, there is an ongoing weekly online balloon twisting class. We ask for patience and flexibility with rescheduling special events. If our company is unable to provide your entertainment services at your rescheduled time we will recommend alternate companies that meet our artistic expectations and that will treat you with the same courtesy and respect.
- Please consider some of our other entertainment and service options. It may be possible for us to provide a magician in place of the scheduled balloon twister. A caricature artist may be wonderful for a birthday party if a face painter is not available. Joy Set is one of the few companies to offer singing telegrams in the Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson areas of SC. We would love to offer this as a more readily available option for upcoming or rescheduled parties.
- At the end of the day, Joy Set is not just a company. We are people that live and love in this community. We respond to and deal with others the same way that we want them to respond and deal with us. Sounds like a good RULE to follow.
