Last week the Today Show had a segment featuring a balloon fashion show. Since then I have had an increase in the number of people asking me about balloon dresses. Perhaps you have seen the email that is circulating around with the amazing pictures of balloon fashion. That is when it is cool to be “in the know” about things like this.
I know all the designers that were featured in the Today Show segment. I have eaten lunch with them and twisted balloon with some at balloon conventions. All are incredibly talented artists and great, friendly folks. Aeradeco Video has just released a new DVD all about making balloon dresses, and FLOAT (a balloon decorator convention) will have at least one class about making balloon fashion this year.
